The Academy Club is also a club for adults interested in becoming involved in adult role-play, in the adult school, corporal punishment and maid scenes. You do have to join The Academy Club or The Tawsingham Society (or both) before you can come to our events. (We have been running events since 1987.)
You do not have to join either in order to buy our goods.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Electron cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or via Secure Server on the web site. We cannot guarantee security if sent by email.
The entry for the transaction with us will read MC-ACADEMY INC on your statement.
Postage in the UK is £1. Postage within the EC and Norway is 10% of the value of your order (not including the handling and packing charge). Postage to the rest of the world is 20% of the value of your order.
We normally post UK orders under 1 kg by second class post. From 1 kg to 2 kg they go first class. Over 2kg they go Parcelforce. All orders to overseas destinations go Airmail.
For an extra £1 we will send items first class. For an extra £5 we will send them next day delivery.
We charge the card when we withdraw the item from stock, and unless you instruct us otherwise, ship it that day.
We will normally confirm orders by email and advise if items are out of stock.
We will advise you by email (or post if we have no email address) if we do not have it in stock and the likely delay.
If we do not anticipate getting further supplies of that item we will also advise you by email.
If you have paid by cash or cheque, and we cannot supply part of your order, we will offer a credit note worth 20% more than you paid. Or if you prefer, we will make a full refund of what you paid.
For other orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added.
Outside Europe you pay no tax at all and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero

If no fault was found, but is returned as now being unwanted. We will offer credit note for 20% more or a full refund, but not of the cost of handling or postage.
We cannot accept any implement that has been used or any underwear that has been worn for reasons of hygiene, unless they were received in a defective condition.
We will usually respond to customer queries immediately, but always within 48 hours.
We cannot accept responsibility for the results of using any implement supplied. They are supplied as novelty items only.
Implements must not ever be used on minors. They are for use on freely consenting adults only.

The Academy Club do not disclose buyers information to third parties, except where we have goods shipped directly to you from our supplier.
If we do this with a particular item it is clearly shown in the catalogue and we have checked the supplier for integrity.
We observe the principles of the UK Data Protection Act, as do suppliers who may ship goods directly to you on our behalf.

If you return goods because they are faulty, substandard or not what you ordered, then we will offer to pay back the whole amount you paid, including delivery and return postage, or a credit note for 20% more, your choice!
